Bicycle commercial used my Duster (lots of tire thrashing)
A good friend of mine is a Hollywood photographer, he had the scoop that they were gonna pay some agency in LA to supply a “small, flat black, muscle car, that can do donuts”. He spoke up and that he has a buddy in Alabama that would probably do it cheaper... He called me, where I informed him I didn’t have a car together but give me a couple days I see if I can get something in order. Cuda and Super Bee ran.. but not particularly small nor was I willing to paint them... Duster had no drivetrain but I was willing to paint... That was a Friday evening, Sunday night the Duster fired up and I called him to tell him I’m all in. The following Saturday I was loaded up in route to Utah! That’s “how it came together” in a nutshell!
