Grabbed these when the photographer was working on Kaelyn's senior photo shoot..... Seems to be a little bit of bad *** in this girl......

Car looks awesome and you both did a great job. A little bad *** can be good too.

Mamma has spoken. We will be visiting my A-Body drug dealer in a few weeks with a wad of cash making a deal on a '72 TorRed Demon roller with the parts to put it back to original. 340, 4 speed and factory 8 3/4" rear end..... She wants it to be Sassy Grass Green.... I will be trying to talk her into keeping it Red...

You mean Green Go ?

Kaelyn backed the Duster into a ditch today after school and got it stuck.... she was shaking when she told me tonight.... She wants an everyday car to drive now :)..... No damage done that I can tell, we need to clean them up for a show on Saturday tomorrow so we will see. Ah the life of a restored old car owner!

Oh no! I can imagine how shook up she was. I'm sure it's fine.

Yea I am sure it was not really "stuck". She is not use to wheels spinning, she thought she was getting "stuck" last night in the gravel. A bit of rocking with some fast gear shifting would have gotten it out I am sure. Her girl friends she was dropping off helped her "push it out" of the ditch. There is just not that many ditches that deep around here. :)

It was a really good learning experience though.

Good, I was thinking of the ditches around here. When I was about 16, my younger sister was driving my car (without a license) and drove it into a dirt road ditch 2-3 feet lower than the road. She must have been going pretty fast because the fenders got wedged into the driver's door so it wouldn't open. I had to pull it out with a neighbor's truck. I'm sure I wasn't very happy. It was my first car that I bought and fixed and painted. A 1979 AMC Spirit. Kind of like an 80s Javelin in Concord clothing.

I'm glad her ditch was less steep.:D

We have not been to a show with both cars since June and only one with the Duster since then where we left because it was too damn hot. Kaelyn spent 4 hours getting her baby shined up this morning then helped with mine. They are both sleeping quietly under plastic in the garage now waiting for tomorrow.

You need some breathable car covers

No disagreement with you there. Just seem to find better things to spend money on than covers, remember the wife has a ragtop she is expecting to drive next year :). I plan to buy new covers next week for both. Tho here with 5% humidity it really does not matter much.

That is dry !!!!!!!!!

Coronet and Duster to a big local show in Sierra Vista Az. Kaelyn did not win anything but the Coronet took 2nd in '65-'85 Modified, Frost Green Plymouth took Best of show, Six Pack Challenger took Best Muscle Car, and the '71 Challenger rag top took best paint. A great showing for an area that typically is dominated by Ford and Chevy!
