Mopar drain plug 6035417 for replacement

Current one is hangs a drip every once and awhile. Engine was built with Summit G3536 oil pan and Melling pick up 72-S2

Melling Oil Pump Screen Assemblies 72-S2
This drain plug is about 1/2 longer. It is going to work without interfering with the pickup?
