Just home from the Doc. He thinks it came right back because I didnt wait a week between the prednisone and starting the Allipurinol. Guess you're suppose to wait till your gout is completely cleared up before starting on the Allipurinol.
So im on another prednisone burst to get me cleared up, then I'll wait a week or two and start the other. And he wants to start me at a lower dose and build up this time. I'm hoping we get this under control this time cause gout sucks. Mine for some reason gets especially bad at night when I go to bed. Got almost no sleep the last two nights.
