Went to the Spokane "hamfest" and bought a few old books, on the way back it was spittin snow Wx girls say the temp trends for last couple and next few weeks are way below "normal." One said she did not expect things to warm up..........................

Anywhere near Caldwell? A friend of mine just moved up there from the Mojave Desert and I'd love to give him some s@%# about his first snowfall :lol:
 
No, I'm way up N in the Panhandle, Coeur d Alene, about 45mi E of Spokane.
 
95* here in Alabama today. According to the weather forecasters, it will be this hot for at least another week. Unusually hot here for this time of year.
 
I've had to chain up across I-90 on Fourth of July and Indepence Passes in early October...
 
I am NOT lookin forward to another long winter!!! Hell, I was hopin to get in a couple more boat rides!!!
 
This is one year I'm ready for winter, hasn't rained here since the middle of August, supposed to be 96 degrees tomorrow no rain in sight, under a burn ban also but once winter gets here I know I'll regret it.
 
Record high today 91° in Cincy.
No rain since August to speak of.
Normally I'd be pretty upset, but the ground was so saturated from what seemed like 2 years of non stop rain. I had trees falling from the saturation. It needed to dry up around here badly.
Saw on the news that a foot of snow fell in Montana. No thanks!
 
Moderate drought here in SC. They say it has spoiled the fall color show. Five more days of this heatwave. Only 75 next Saturday.

Wax up the bottom of the boat and take her out to a nice big hill.:D
Had a blast when I was a kid with an aluminum boat in the snow.

I don't think it will be a very colorful Autumn. Lots of brown leaves with few vibrant gold and red trees here and there.

You're lucky.
It's been snowin' and blowin' here for over 24 hours, and it's supposed to end Monday sometime.
We have about 6'' of snow now and the drifts are pretty high in places.
This is about 60 miles north of the Montana border in southern Alberta.
 
Ive been up Elk hunting all week.
Snowed all day on us yesterday ...

Your day's a comin!! LOL. It's 12 afternoon, is only 38F We are WAY WAY under "normals" for this time of year
