Well now, looks like Little Red is gonna clean up nicely now ain’t it? In the words of the great philosopher and thinker of thoughts Forrest Gump....”that’s good, one less thang”!

Put around 20+ fun filled miles on her.....BEAUTIFUL day for a drive!

True. I wound up sanding and masking!! Humidity is high here 97% of the year!!! I hate the weather here! We will move before I kick the bucket!!
Would love to have you move here but to damn cold. You move here in the summer and we can move to your place in the winter. lol

Did not work on the Barracuda, once again today. Instead I slept in oops, and arrived at the Redwood City /6 meet at 3pm. There was ONE car, a 66 or 67 Daffodil Yellow Coronet 500. Whatever the hell they called that pale PALE yellow color is (Best friend's sister when I was in high school had a 67 Charger with a 361 that was that color).

At least my son and I got to enjoy some time on the road together.

Spent a couple hours tearing apart our project. I brought it home with plans to sell it and my 14 year old son asked if he could have it. I was so excited! I didn't really want to sell it anyway.

Yesterday I put a 600 Holley up for sale so I could help pay for the AVS2 I bought last month.

I have been working on my 8.8 I'm gonna try and get some more done to it when I get off in the morning. I have to finish grinding down all the old hangers smooth and weld the cut end and reattach the hangers and paint and it should be good to go. I'm gonna wait on the hangers because I'm not decided with what I want to do with my leaf springs yet. I want to do the 1/2 dr diff offset hangers but at 175 bucks it would be cheaper to just do the full 3 inch relocation. (109 on ebay) but thata even more work and to be honest I don't need the full three inches. Well not in tire clearance anyway.... hahaha

Finally got my buddy's car done with the 8.75 Sure Grip and outta my way.
Now I want to get back on the paint and body on my own car before the winter weather hits, and I still have the drivers side to do.
It's kind of a pain to try and paint a daily driver and have it not be down.:D
THEN I might get to put the 8.25 rear end in if I have time.
2.91 Sure grip with Cherokee disc brakes is all ready to go in.
(The pads are in the calipers now):D

Finally had a bit of time to do something a bit Cuda related tonight. Pulled the plugs on the 340, dumped in some more trans fluid, and turned it over a few times. This engine hasn't run the 10 years I've had it, and was told it hadn't run 10 years before that. I've been good at pulling the plugs, dumping in trans fluid, and rolling it over through the years.

Redoing interior, cut out 8 point rollbar, took out race seats. Done with the race interior! Painted floor, got the sound bearer down. Next new carpet and redoing rear seat delete. It’s tubbed and still fast. I’m 65 but want a little change.
