Sorry to say Rob but it doesn't taste like any other game I have had. I have had a lot of different wild meat and moose is by far my favorite. It is a mild taste that is closer to beef than deer. It is denser than beef, more like deer that way. Like most other wild meat it is very low in fat content and if you like your meat well done chances are that it will start to toughen up.
