Hood ornament

I am led to believe this is a dodge hood ornament from the 50's.

Can anybody identify as its before my time.
Yes interested in selling, but curious what it may be from

I have one on the grill top hood of my 47 Dodge COE. Look similar. I just looked at an old picture and it is similar but yours is probably a 50s like you said.

The one on my 47 Dodge sedan is quite similar to yours in the head area but much longer in the tail area.

I almost want to say the ones that I've seen where like that but had more like a glass piece or something connected to the back of it? It almost see where it looks like it almost has a notch for another piece to continue even smaller and Slimmer off the back of it? Or maybe that's right where it connects into a center trim going down or I should say continuing towards the windshield?
Also I got to say I wasn't trying to be a Debbie Downer about the emblem. I have been looking for something kind of cool for my car as well. Something really old school Plymouth....

Looks like it is for a 1941 Dodge, except yours is shorter....any damage to yours?

It might also be for a COE truck, 41-47? This one looks more like it...need to take more pictures, also need the part number.

It needs a good polish and there is some putting
Make an offer if your interested because i pulled it out of a scrap pile I was about to haul and it will likely end up on the pile for the next load
