Shocks in way of tank install

Hi everybody:

My shocks seem to be getting in the way of my new gas tank install. It's a Spector tank so it should work. Do you have to take the shocks out or do you bend the seems on the tank and give it a bash or two?

Assuming they sent you the right tank you shouldn’t have to take the shocks out, there’s clearance there when the tank is installed. You may have to fold the seam a little bit, usually that’s done by the tank manufacturer but you may have to improve on what they’ve done. You may also have to tilt the tank into its final position, they don’t always just go straight up into place.
