ProComp/Speedmaster aluminum heads

Hard to argue with that.
I called two small machine shops and one said eighty bucks to take them apart and take a look and the next shop said 25 to 50 bucks...
At this point I'm just kind of on the fence whether I ought to just pull them apart myself and just by a eyeball make sure I don't one have to either pound them out LOL or they're so loose they're like throwing a hotdog down the hallway LOL? And maybe take the Springs down and have their spring rates checked real quick? I so terribly do not like letting things get out of my hands....
Maybe have the deck flatness checked?..
