Mounting confusion

Wow that is one rare piece. That is a 64 trans. From what I remember 64 was the last year for the ball&trunion driveshaft. 65 were all slip in but I only had 727's. You can push that car to start it with the rear pump . Get it rolling 25 mph and push the low button. Back in the day I was poor and couldn't afford a new battery. I would always park on a hill .LOL.

You can take that hub off of the tail shaft and convert to a slip yoke. I know guys that would kill for that trans. I use to put the throttle to the floor in neutral and push the 1st gear button. Those transmissions were as tough as an OX.

My buddy and I were doing the neutral to 1st and then when it was just about ready to hook up I would push the reverse button then back to 1st and back to reverse. I just kept doing it. We were laughing so hard I was crying. The wheels were hopping so bad in reverse I don't know what was keeping the rear in the car . It was a white 62 Dart 4dr 361 4bbl. I was using it for parts for a convertable and we were giving it the test. Just thinking back I am laughing again.

I had tons of pictures of these old cars with their complete tear downs I was scanning in. I had a thread going of my past but to many complaints stopped the thread. I may have pictures of that mount on the trans. I'll look for it and scan it in. I may have a mount? I would drop the motor and trans out the bottom as I do today back in the 70's.
