Hi! My name is Martin and I live in Southern Sweden. I bought my first mopar about a month ago, a 65 Dodge Dart GT Convertible with a slant 6 225, see attached Pictures. It has about 40000 miles on it.

In my opinion it's in a nice enough shape, so our main goal is to cruise around in it and perhaps make some minor fixes. :)

The car was exported from the US to Sweden in 2014, but I don't know much more about its history. According to the fender tag it was delivered with a 170 ci slant 6, so apparently someone has swapped the Engine to a 225 and it has gotten a paint job some time in the past (in near to original color). The last known owner (to my knowledge) was a Mr Oellrich (around year 2010) who then lived in Florida (Pembroke Pines). I've tried to get in Contact with him but no success so far.

In the odd chance that some FABO-member should recognize this car and/or have been involved in any restoration I would be really greatful for any information you can give. :)

Have a nice weekend!

Welcome to FABO. That's a beauty you have there. Do you know Ulf by chance? @65dartcharger

Thanks! No, unfortunately i yet don't know Ulf directly, but i know OF him. ;) I have read about his restorations on this eminent forum and watched Motorblog of Swedens interviews with him on Youtube. Quite a collection he has there! :)

Nice it ended up with an enthusiast!

Nice restoration but the motor is the wrong color and the engine bay should be all red...who am I kidding, that's a sweet ride!
