I used too but decided ignoring someone is the chicken way out (for me). I needed to just learn to ignore people who trigger me.

Zero on ignore on this site. Probably around 5-6 on Moparts but I’ve been a member there longer. It’s not that I don’t read their posts I just have them on ignore because I no longer would go out of my way to help them out if and when then needed help on something.
I have a few that really burned me one way or another.
I had one a few years back, he was eventually banned from the site for harassing members.

I have one. I have 23 on it. I just finally got tired of it. I've bent over backwards helping people on this site. I know I can have a brash delivery, but my tolerance for stupid is low and disrespect even lower. And that's kinda increased in the last few years. Yes, I've tried unignoring a few, but they all made it back on the list, so I'm not doin that again. I am sure it will continue to grow. And if somebody thinks I am chicken, come say it to my face. lol I may get my ask kicked, but in the immortal words of my friend Billy Peyton (RIP) "you ain't gonna get no damned cherry" LOL God, I cannot believe I just typed RIP behind Billy's name. Man that hurts.

I like Rusty a lot and I believe him just like most on here have good intentions are trying to help everybody the best they can but his brand of help seems to be just a little better and than everybody else, and if you don't listen to him you might just get put on his ignore list LOL... When he's Brash to you (AKA) disrespectful that's okay...

I have one on my ignore list. The only one in all the sites I visit (Er, both).
I just got tired of him injecting his knowitall opinion on every knowitall thing I said. I don't view it as a weakness to ignore him. I just figure I'm avoiding some bigger blowout down the road.
I'm happy with it, I'd be just as happy without it; I just figure it's less stupid drama for you guys.

I should say I have one person on ignore that a long time ago chased me all over the Forum calling me names and personal messaging me all kinds of harassmentno. I don't know if the guy was drunk or what the problem was but it just wasn't what I'm looking for in The Forum that's for sure... and I definitely put people on ignore for just a minute or two while I could get something done...
there's quite a few people that seem to have no idea how hard it is to fabricate something while taking pictures of every aspect and describing and posting. it takes quite a bit of time and then for someone to turn all that into a different discussion at the same time it gets too much to handle and being able to get what you doing done..

2 on ignore. One of which was only because when I hit "recent post" it was often a page filled with his for sale adds, so nothing bad.

What sucks is when somebody's totally turning you thread some other direction and all of a sudden it skips for 5 post at a time and what you started turns into a discussion on women's purses...
