Another piece in this puzzle today. Funds sent to Hemi Denny today for him to get started on the HDK for this Dart. Pics to follow when his fabulous kit arrives!

With a little effort, and some wild passion for these Mopars....magic can happen!
check the before and after pics. Very pleased.

Also, Old K comes off this Thursday with the help of the guys of the Mopar Therapy group.

That looks great! What product did you use on the underside of the inner fender - the black stuff? Thanks!

When you see the welds on the HDK stuff, you will be standing there with your mouth hanging open hunting for words....lol. Whoever welds that stuff up for Denny isn't a welder, he or she is an artist!

My arm is getting better. Was told I can start to use it again, lightly. So carefully I went at trying to fit in these braces. Fun project, a little welding.

Here is the Master Craftsman Mark Basset. Mark has constructed many race winning USAC Midgets and Sprint cars of National caliber quality. Mark is the only person doing any welding on HDK products from day one and it is all TIG.

While waiting on the HDK front end....lil' cleaning lil' painting. Front outer radiator support. Looks blue but it really is LL-1 under LED lights. Going to top it in black anyways...I just wanted to see what the LL-1 looked like.

In my opinion....that man is not merely a welder, he is an ARTIST!

Slow but sure. Lots of cleaning, lots of sanding. Shot a lil’ etching primer. A lot more to do, but a little bit at a time.

It’s loose, just couldn’t lift it with one arm. Dash is coming out too, when the dash is lifted out, box will come right out.

Yesterday, the HDK front end arrived. Thanks Denny. All looking good. I will take lots of pics as I do this install. My first thoughts , other than how awesome the kit looks....

What color should I paint or powder coat it? Should I do it all in LL-1???

Working on engine bay as the front suspension parts are being powder coated. Shot some 2 part epoxy today. Slow steps but moving forward. I still have some welding to do on the passenger side fender apron, so couldn't paint it yet.

The clean engine bay makes any install more enjoyable. I remember what you went thru with your header install on your Duster. I think you will find the exhaust install on this one mucho easier.

I know I'm moving slow, sorry. I am trying to get things done as much as possible. Engine bay is now all ready for the final spray of base and clear coats. It is smooth as can be sanded in 600 grit. I will be building a make/shift poly plastic booth. Looking forward to shooting this.
