Damn, this is hard. We're going to bury Odie tomorrow night.. I want to have him buried in our yard, and it's been a swamp with rain. Had 2 good days of drying so I think tomorrow will work.
A couple pics of the boy with his best friend years ago.. the boy is taking it hard, and I think a ritual burial will help him with closure. He wants to bury him with this shirt, as well as a few other things.
I came home today, opened up the garage.. and didn't know what to do, as after that Odie and I would go on our 'walkabout', him sniffing out what dog pissed on every sign and tree in the neighborhood.
I feel dumb for having this many feelings when there are people losing loved ones (human I mean).. but damn, it's hitting me hard.
