That's why Chrylser should have updated the W5. It's raised intake runner helped big time. They also needed to use the W7 length valves. Of course, then you have the W7, which is really what they should have done now that I type this out...just produce the W7 and call it a bracket head, because that's what it really is.

Interesting fact. I don't remember the year, but it had to be the early 1990's, Ritter/Weber were running a car in Comp Eliminator. They set the record at 7.77/167 IIRC. I know the 7.77 is correct but I may be off on the MPH a bit.

They did that on modified W7 castings. On one 4bbl. That's impressive. So the heads had potential. What a waste.

If you had those heads and R blocks (or a Ritter block) you could easily make 800 HP on 400 inches all day long.
