Yes, those are SBP wheels......i will let you know

I got an MSD 8546 distributor......ouch, $300

I have a MSD 6AL box and a new MSD Blaster 2 coil

Need to get some plugs and wires now, most likely MSD 8.5 super conductors

I run an electric pump out back, I would think about keeping the mechanical pump , unless it is race only

I have read pros and cons of electrical vs mechanical......and was kind of set on going to an EFI tank, pump, etc

This will be mostly a street car

I guess it would be much cheaper and a much easier install to keep the mechanical.......if it's worth it

If you are just trying to get the car going do the minimal... Boy you sure pulled out all the stops early on with the MSD stuff lol.... There is alot of tech info about running mechanical fuel pumps and vaporlock on the site. I ran a return line to my replacement tank before I went with an Intank for Efi but never got to try it out during the summer. Just some FYI for you.

If you want to go for broke on the wires contact Firecore. They have nice wires and I will be running a set of my 512.

Don't know about the firecore wires. I always wonder why people don`t look for the plug wires with the least resistance . Hint: MSD !

I have run MSD's on everything until now.... The Firecores are extremely heat resistant, custom to your specs, and since a RB is alot of volume in a small space under the hood of an A Body I am figuring everything little thing I do will help the matters.... Otherwise, I would go right to the MSD catalog...

I've had no issues with mechanical fuel pumps. I've gone 12's with the factory slant six fuel lines from the tank to engine and mechanical fuel pump. Very cheap, simple, and works. But most prefer electric.

MSD wires have been good to me in the past......i bought some 32739 wires, hope they fit and are the right part number

For under $100 shipped, that's hard to beat

That's reassuring to hear.......i am still on the fence what to do

Find a good aftermarket mechanical or go electric

Does the mechanical put added stress on the cam?

no added stress … it has an eccentric and a push rod behind the timing gears.

I need to find what part number for NGK plugs to use

The motor has RJ12YC plugs in there now, and can't find a cross reference......there's a few options and heat ranges

I think the Tanks Inc EFI kit is like $488 shipped, with a new tank and sending unit

A decent mechanical pump is $125

A replacement tank is around $150 shipped, and I will need new straps and will toss in a new sending unit just to make sure

Talked with many people today and decided to KISS and stick with a mechanical fuel pump

Now, which one?!?!?

I wonder how well the the stock 340 radiator will do with cooling the 440?

I would minimally like flush the coolant and install a new thermostat.......180°?

Quick fuel, Holley, Mr. Gasket.......all the same 110 gph fuel pumps. They also use 1/4" ports, which seem tiny to me

Edelbrock uses 3/8" ports on their BB pumps

Finally pulled the wheels and tires off today

The rear wheels are 14x8 US Indy Mags, with what appear to have 3.5" of backspacing

The front are disk and the rear is a drum, but I do have the 5x4 small bolt pattern

What backspacing do the front 14" ralley wheels have? What width should they be?

I decided to keep the rear aluminum slots, since they are in good shape.......cheaper also than buying 4 wheels

I just bought a pair of front slots, to match the rear. Was a good price I think, $160 shipped

Now I need to figure out a tire size for the front and rear......and get some tires

The front wheels were delivered

Nice to now have a matching set of wheels on the front and rear

Even came with lug nuts

MSD wires are very easy to custom taylor !

205 70 15 , or 215 70 15 --------------depending on how hi u have ur front end set . If u want 70`s ----

What came with the car:

Rear: G50-14

Front: GR70-14 205SR-14

GR70-14 were on two tires in the trunk, I assume a matching size for the rear
