42RH / A-500 in a Duster with pictures.

Got a 42RH out of a V6 dakota. I noticed its flexplate has a bunch of lightening holes punched in the flexplate at one spot to lighten it. Also saw in rockauto that it's a different PN than the 1993 318 one which lists without balance weight.

Am I right to assume that because it's an odd fire V6 that the flexplate wont work with a neutral balance 1974 318, and that I should just get the neutral balance flexplate for the 318 or 360 from rockauto.

This leads to the next question. The first neutral balance V8 flexplate pic has a tone ring for a hall effect pickup. I will not be using that, and would prefer to use the cheaper flex plate without the hall effect ring built into it. Can the one in pic #2 be used on the 42RH torque converter?
