bending conduit "by hand"

thanks for the advice guys...if I knew what I was doing, I wouldn't have posted here, I would have just don't it

You probably don't want to use the recep as a feed through device.

There were strict policies against that when I was an apprentice.

"Pigtail out".

thanks piggles, I thought the whole point of the FGCIs was to protect the entire circuit?
not much to it to swap the wires to the same poles so it runs parallel

Hmm, perhaps try replacing that run of conduit using 3 LL’s and an LB.
Coming out of the receptacle box use a LL shooting the conduit straight up into another LL then have the conduit follow the soffit into an LB. Then the conduit can rise straight up into another LL and then across into your single gang box.
I’m not being a dick but those bends are kinked and it’s a code violation to run RX or UF cable through a conduit.

I don't think I ever had to do so much googling to translate some ones help down to where I understand it

you are absolutely right on the bend kinks, but I think I will let it be for now
(if you really want to see something at my house that is not up to code, check this out spiral staircase for loft )

I actually asked my contractor buddy how to do this, up to code, and he said to run it through conduit (though we didn't talk about what wire I was gonna use)
