1969 Cuda Vin Number

There were 48 M-Code 68 Dart GSS's made for Mr. Norm's Grand Spaulding Dodge exclusively, I have one at my shop and put a restored one in a museum two months ago. I have 13 of them in my registry, I still work for Mr. Norm today. All of them were 383 cars taken off the assembly line without engine and trans and shipped to Hurst-Campbell in Detroit with 440 engines and trans with the Dart VIN number on the bell housing area. All fender tags said 383 because they were already built as bodies. The first six digits of the VIN are LS23M8B. Here is the one I took to the Gilmore Auto Museum outside of Kalamazoo, MI anyone can go see it at anytime.

So what drivers side exhaust manifold was used on these '68 M-codes?...since the rarer than rocking-horse-poo 440 ones didn't come out 'til '69?
