How much hp/w2

You got me beat by 28 cubes , 2.5 points of compression and probably a few degrees of duration.

Looking at his numbers...not knowing what his heads actually look like (can't be anything wrong with them at that power level)...and just making a general guess...I'm saying he is probably about 272-276ish at .050 and probably 109-110 LSA on cam.

That's my best WAG on his cam timing.

Yeah.. I am at 246/250 @ .050 on a 108

If I get my interior installed I could actually drive it and see how much power it has.
Its hard to drive a 4 speed with no seat installed ...lol
I can only start it and rev now.

the 436'' ran 133 mph in a 3400 lbs car.
if i remember correctly, duration on that cam was 276/286 @ .050.

not sure what this means?

LOL. I don't remember what that meant when I typed it! Who knows? I occasionally loose my marbles and type something I think is funny, but, according to my wife is not. That may be the case here.

I'd probably need to read the whole thread again to see what I was talking about. And even then, I may not remember.

Wasn't sure what it meant either, figured I missed something.bigger problems than a milk crate for a seat.the engine that came with the dart has a Chevy bolt pattern on the.crank shaft and to mount the power glide has become a real issue.anybody had a dished flex.plate.made.jw performance gave up real quick.

First thing about heads period is how well they flow. And on what cubic inch size engine there going to be on with the associated parts for your goal. And that goal is???

In layman’s terms, the head should have the ability to make 2hp per cfm or flow the head offers. This layman’s math is not a maximum output but what a well built engine and combination should do.

So! If your ported W2 heads flow 300 cfm, then getting 600hp from them is a real possibility. But only if you have the right parts supporting them in trying to reach that goal.

Yellowrose & mbaird hit the nail on the head with there reply.

What is your intended usage and goal?

Just want to add that would be generally race CR and cams, if were talking 285 ish cam and 10:1 cr it would be more like 1.7-1.8 hp per cfm.

Ok, see post 52. I didn't loose my marbles. Mbaird was referencing not having seats in his car. My suggestion was "milk crate"...as in grab a milk crate and call it a seat.

You had to be there...

That crossed my mind.
Then I considered the effects of a a solid roller 408 W2 + 3.91 spool + tippy crate =. Nothing good !

I love milk crates but you would think by now I would know better than to stand on one to work off of.
