Happy Birthday US Navy!
The US Navy celebrates its’s 244th Birthday this Sunday. I thought I would do a little something to honor it.
My grandfather helped build submarines during WWII. He was too old to serve in combat but did his part for the war effort doing the electrical wiring on submarines. He was a master electrician and a small guy so he could squirrel into the tight spaces others couldn’t fit into and run the wiring and connections. This is one of the boats he worked on.
