Ohh k Looking for a bit of information on RPM heads. My build is a 66 383 .30 over flat top pistons (10:1 CR).Lunati cam 268/276@50 duration,Valve lift 494/513. The RPM heads im looking at are available in 75cc,84cc and 88cc My question is which ones do I order? Thanks for any help, this is all new to me :(

Head chamber size will affect that 10.1 rating on those pistons ....
Did the piston mfg say what size chamber that rating was arrived at?

Sounds like you are definitely in purchase mode. If it were me I would remove your current heads and CC your piston volume. Most likely you can go up a point on compression (static.) Nobody can really give you the answer IMO however some measuring and a few calls will set you up....

FYI-plan on pulling you OOTB heads apart and checking guide clearance atleast....

Give the folks at Edelbrock a call and ask them. They answer these sorts of questions every day.

The problem is that you don't know what your compression ratio is (or will be) unless you know what the head cc is. So you need to figure out what compression ratio you want and then order the correct head. There are other considerations such as closed chamber or open chamber plus some of those heads aren't really the same as the other ones so your question needs some refining.

FWIW I always run the numbers through a couple different calculators and compare the results. I've had times where one gave a quite different result for whatever reason. (Probably a smart phone&dumb thumbs:D)
