I have a 73 sport dart that was a dirt track car that was raced about 6 times back in 2005-06 and has been garage stored since then. I am going to scrap the car but would rather give it away than scrap it. It has a full roll cage that was professionally welded. set up for 4 speed. 323 8 1/4 rear with the spiders welded. Spare duster hood and one fender. Original hood is there but removed in the picture. I was going to remove the k frame, radiator, big t-bars, clutch pedal, and the fuel cell. I will give it away less the fore-mentioned items. I want to use the k frame in another 73 sport dart restoration along with the 340 and 4 speed trans. I will sell the t bars ( i believe they are 1.060 or 1.08), wheels, and fuel cell separately. Located SE PA

The floor hump is worth a few bucks, I would grab that too if you are going to scrap it.

I know you'd rather get rid of the car as a whole but if that doesn't work out, I'm interested in the 4-speed floor hump, pedals, and linkages. I hope you can find a new home for it though!

I want this car so bad it makes me sick to think about how far it is! I would seriously put a motor in this and take it down to our local dirt track and show them what a Mopar can do with a novice driver!...

I hear you on that. I would love to have the car myself, I'm tired of seeing Camaros and Monte Carlo. Guess i shouldn't say that, i have 2 montes and a Camaro myself.

well the neighbors across the street have the van that 318 has valves that will fly once I'm sure. Nice Dodge van and almost perfect condition that's been sitting way too long.. I buy it and he puts that duster on a trailer and brings it to me and puts his van on a trailer and takes it back home... we split the cost of the trailer gas in the van and he gets what he wants and I get what I want...

I did the calculation and it would be in the neighborhood of 13 to $1,500 in gas round trip..
That's Portland to Pittsburgh which is southeast Pennsylvania...
It's almost 3k miles each way...

My Brother and youngest Son both drive long haul to the east coast.:D
But sadly they can't do this kind of stuff with the company trucks.:(

maybe move this to the for sale section?
it would be a shame if this car wouldn't get driven

come to think of it, this would be perfect for a young driver
can you imaging pulling up to highschool in that?

honestly myself I would like to see it just as we talked about on the dirt track blown away all the Chevys. Camaros to be more exact that's the only thing that they run at our track, maybe a couple Novas..

I have offered to sell the car to a member on this site for a nominal price which includes the k member. He wants to use the rear frame rails and metal for a resto project. The t bars have been sold. I have a set of mopar performance rear shocks P4876498. They had about 6 races on them. I hate to see the cage go to the scrap yard. 2 professional welders worked on it and it was done right. The street stock seems to be disappearing from the northeast.
