Hi guys,

Do any of you know where to get a rebuild kit/or parts to rebuild the column shift mechanisms in the column?

We have a 70 Dart that we rescued from a 30 year slumber (then took on the 3000 mile Lemons Rally last July). Got the car running great, and now would like to fine tune it (fine tune being relative).

I have not seen a kit but you might want to contact Brewer Performance. If they don't have one they may know where to get one.
 
I have a complete tight column without the steering shaft. If interested I will take pictures. Out of a 70 duster. I took the shifter off for shipping but is included. $50 plus ride from 18038
 
I had my neighbor turn some on his lathe out of brass, I just measured the I.D and O.D and he made them.
 
Don't overlook the linkage. I took the column out of my truck and dissembled it. I went to Ace hardware and Lowes. I bought spring washers and a few other parts. I replaced the grommets in the linkage. I had to order the big bushings on the transmission arms. It shifted like new when I was done.
