When I bought my 67 Barracuda Formula S, the Hi-PO 273 had been cratered and replaced with a 318. The PO did give me a bunch of of 273 engine parts I don’t have any use for.

I was planning on pulling the 273 parts out tomorrow so I can post photos, but if there is no real demand, I can find other things to do.

Parts include a pair of heads, the crankshaft, cam, 14 pushrods, the adjustable rockers, dual point distributor, a 65 4 bbl manifold, a 67-67 4 bbl manifold and several exhaust manifolds.

If you folks think there is a demand for this stuff, i’ll get the casting numbers tomorrow, take some photos and post stuff.

If shipping affects demand, I will be at the upcoming FMA November 9.

Thanks for the input.

You never know unless you try. Are the 4 bbl manifolds cast iron or aluminum?

273-4 intakes were all cast iron. Nothing in your batch is specific to the Commando 'cept the intake, cam and DP distributor. Sell 'em!

It all has value. Start a sale thread. And guys, this thread is not a sale thread so don't offer to buy. Your posts will be taken down.

I sold my 273 4 barrel intake for $150 if I remember correctly.
Do you have the valve covers or air cleaner? Those are the money items.

273 Commando parts are worth good money and are in demand. Even used pistons if you have any. Crank is forged steel.

Sorry, no update on the sale forum today. My part-time job wanted me all day (and I thought I was retired). Barring further unavoidable circumstances, I will be out in the shed tomorrow sorting the stuff, making a list and taking photos.

Yes commando parts valuable. I’ve sold dual point distributor, used afb original carb on here. Valve covers and air cleaners always popular. Any throttle linkage, adjustable rockers, fan shrouds all great stuff.
