I have found a car that a friend of mine is interested in. The car has a black California license plate. I'm looking to get the information about the car as well as the owner.
You can do a DMV search for back fees online and to see the status of registration if you have the VIN and you need the plate number. (which you do from the pic) You can also try calling the local Police Department non emergency number and if you let them know that you are trying to buy a car and are trying to cover you ***, they will sometimes run the VIN and plate and will give you basic information. It does not hurt to try.
