I never knew (or asked before) what the difference between disc and drum upper control arms are and why you cant swap either... chime in guys

None both small ball joint.

65-72 upper control arms are all the same whether drum or disc. They all take the small ball joint

Same for all within those years. 9" drum, 10"drum, kelsey hayes disk brakes.
