something doesn't seem right to me. I have a magnum motor, stock compression, Eddie heads, RPM intake, 1.6 rockers, small cam .482/.496 duration 214/220 with a lsa 112.
The cam is ground for 1.6 rockers. Timing is at 14 degrees at idle, i am idling around 1000 rpms, carb is a csu (holley based carb) set up for a blower. I have a blower just not piped up yet because doing an inital start. My AFR at idle is 14.6 however my vacuum seems pretty low at 10 in hg, I thought it would be higher. I do not have power brakes, so I do not really have to worry about that..just seemed kind of low. Thoughts?
Thank you
Rob

Those numbers look about right to me. Your cam will give you those vacuum numbers at 14 advance and the AFR is about right. I don't think there is a direct correlation between vacuum and AFR readings. There will be a direct connection between timing and vacuum though.
JMHO, as it is similar to my setup.
