Ah, maybe the Ger-MINI did get the Chrysler engine I read about? ZF or any CV trans....oy vey! The CV Justy almost bankrupted Subaru. Why not just run a gas motor at the most efficient speed to turn a generator and power the car with electric motors? like a Diesel electric train? To inefficient?
