Well usually I don’t have so much trouble finding a part, but I’m working on a 1985 Aries 2.2 non turbo engine, this diagram shows the part I’m looking for, they call it the vent module, we’ll I can’t find one so any help would be appreciated!

factory part number is 4201993. i did not find it on an aries but did on omni/horizon. used on on ebay for 29.99. i also typed in part number 4201993 and nothing came up new.

Hi Arron, I havent, they seem to come up more frequently in Google searches.
Good luck
Steve
Hello 4spdragtop,
Was wondering have you Or any other FABO members bought anything from "Mopar Parts Giant" ?
Positive or Negative experience with them ?
Thanks,
Happy Mopar :)
Arron.

4spdragtop,the number you gave him is pcv valve. the number i gave him is the whole shooting match. i was over at my buddies dealership this a.m. and was helping him inventory his nos stuff that he is selling and he has an nos 4201993. i can get a pic on friday if wanted.

Mopar parts giant is a actually a Chrysler dealer. They have integrated a Snap On parts catalog to their website.
They can only get a part if it's available from Chrysler and not NS1.
Basically, if they have it, it can be gotten from your local dealership.
The P/N you're looking for is NS1 and no longer available, no dealers are showing it on the locator. If you can find one from ebay, that's your best bet.

I tried to order a piston from that outfit. Showed it and even gave me a price. I ordered it online, and it came back 3 days later as OOS, no longer made and not available. Well thanks for showing me the part and the price! I think I looked a year later and the part is still listed.

you are correct gunbunny. i use mpg for the parts diagrams and to get the part number. not all dealers are on the parts locator though. my buddies dealership is not as it costs to be on the locator. we are inventorying all his parts and getting rid of a lot of nos stuff. example he had a brand new rear bumper for a 69 rr and it was not on anyone's inventory.

Hello all,
Just wanted to say thanks to all fellow FABO members that have added information to this thread.
I was going to buy the Fuel pick up & sending unit from MPG (Cheapest price I could find) but when reviewing their web site and reviews I got somewhat nervous spending $450.00 (2000 Ram 2500 turbo Diesel) from them.
I would up buying from Ricks Garage (priced higher) but and was happy with the transaction.
This is why I was asking for feed back on Mopar Parts Giant.
As always I find that good information on here always helps all our fellow members.
Thanks,
Happy Mopar :)

Shouldn't cost anything to be on the locator. Thats part of the tech fee that the dealers pay to Chrysler each month. Now, the dealers DMS, may not be configured properly to, but even then that's unlikely due to ARO polling the dealerships inventory. More likely that locator was never turned on at the dealership level. There was a time when there was a charge, but that went away several years ago. He should talk to his Mopar D/M if he's unsure. But the locator is the best way to shed yourself of obsolescence. There's no way I'd have a NOS bumper for a B body and not know it. (At least when I was still in the business)

i will speak to him on monday about that. he talked to vintage parts and they only buy from the factory he was told. anyway here are pics of pcv canister.
