So back at the garage today, and I went looking through the parts we got with the car. I have driprail trim, so it was part of the car originally. I think I want to leave it off. I think my game of attach is to align and weld those two sections together. The gap on my car isn't as big as in the picture I posted. I could probably just weld it up without making the tiny little patch panel to fill the gap. I've got plenty of time to think on it.
