I pilfered the picture. I have this area on a 69 Dart (front top of A pillar). It looks bad... not damaged, just one of those areas that Chrysler didnt think out too much. Has anyone ever welded that junction up to make it look more... continuous? Any pics?

There is supposed to be a corner piece in there.
Oh wait, is that without the trim on?
That makes more sense.

Mine is the same and was made for a stainless trim. If you are not wanting the trim than you need to fabricate the corner as I don't think you have any other choice.

trim for covered top cars closed that gap , if it was a plan jane would have had a welded in part there . the gt was a two tone painted top car , and the gts was a cover top car

So back at the garage today, and I went looking through the parts we got with the car. I have driprail trim, so it was part of the car originally. I think I want to leave it off. I think my game of attach is to align and weld those two sections together. The gap on my car isn't as big as in the picture I posted. I could probably just weld it up without making the tiny little patch panel to fill the gap. I've got plenty of time to think on it.
