The quality of the paint work looks outstanding in the photos, and what a nice color! It really looks good on your Duster. Nice instrument panel as well.
Yes, the guy who painted it is a realy master of his craft.
The complete paint was remocved and he restored the shape of the rear end of the trunk.
Lucky me, the Duster "lived" in California, before it was imported to germany. So absolutly no rust.
We've chosen a candy apple red from
House of Kolor- the Official Site for House of Kolor Custom Finishes - House Of Kolor.
He used a blue basecoat, instead of the black ... awesome effect in the sun, where the roundings nearly appear to look black :-)
The instruments are from Autometer.... American muscle series.
PLYMOUTH DUSTER AutoMeter American Muscle Instrument Clusters 7031
The instrument carrier and the glove box door, etc. habe been coated using water transfer technique, fllowed by a clear paint.
Resulted in a good color match with the steering wheel.
