motor was never fired and thats a good thing.12 -1 seal power pistons . RTV in the oil pump, 346 openchamber heads milled to close chamber. ear broke off of block but easy fix. forged crank. adjustable Crane rockers. Everything in the motor is new and was never fired.. Here are some pictures. The trailer was used because of the weight we were putting on.

We had to take the skid loader with forks and extensions to reach over the pile to get it out. That's why we took the trailer. That picture of it on the trailer by itself. I took it from the loader while unloading it.

You Yanks find all the good chit!!!

Wife and I walked a big general car show today here in SE Tx up the road. We walked for an hour and saw 1 Duster, 4-5 Mopar s out of the 40's an 50's, 10 Fords, 1 Studebaker, and 5000 chevy trucks and 10000 chevy cars!!! lol I have to wonder how many trikes had chevy power?... All of them!!!! lol

The crank and bearings were never run. The bearings had some scratches just by turning it by hand So builder was an idiot. Then my son looked at the crank and said its not for us. The ends of all the journals were under cut instead of a radius. He said we would snap that crank on the first launch . Other then that there are some very exspensive new parts. Thank god they never started it up. The SFI flex plate was dated 2007. Wait until you look at the pan. It looks like they torqued it to 90 ft lbs. The nuts on the studs were about pulled through the pan. LMAO. The new Hydraulic cam & lifters, rocker, springs ,valves and just the small parts were worth the $250 and more.

Steve, Dave and I put it up on the shelf with the Mega block. I included some pictures to compare them. Notice the dust on the Mega block its been up there for years. Soon we will build it. He doesn't trust anyone touching it so he has been buying all of his own machines. We need a crank Balancer so he could do balancing and a large sonic cleaner to fit a block in. next on the list. Then a addition on the garage.

Looks like they didn't want to get paint on the spark plugs. LOL.

My son threw the crank on the scrap pile.

They had some interesting engine assembly techniques.

Hey Oldmanmopar,

Would you please send me a PM regarding left hand wheel studs? You found some for another member a few months ago.

I am brand new here and the system won't let me send you a PM. I'm sure they're just trying to control spam. Sorry for the short thread derail.

Thanks, John

For what car? disc or drum? front or rear? Where are you located?

I'm in Wenatchee, WA. I need one stud. It is for another make (1936 Pontiac), but I think it is the same stud as a small bolt pattern A-body with 9 inch drums (not 100% sure).

I thought I could just go to the store and buy one of these, but I guess you know the left hand thread ones are all discontinued.

It is 7/16", left hand thread, presses into a hole about 9/16" diameter and 7/16" deep. Could also use a left hand lug nut with 3/4" flats.

If you have one you would be willing to sell, I would be very interested.
