Bolts sorting etc finally done

When I was a kid, my neighbor payed me to sort all of his bolts and nuts into the same size. He took a couple of wooden 4 x 4's, and cut them into pieces about 2' long each. He then screwed pint Mason jar lids to the 4 x 4's far enough apart for the jars to have enough room to where they could be screwed on and off of the lids that were screwed to the wood. He mounted each end of the 4 x 4's to brackets that hung down from the low ceiling in his tool room. He could spin the 4 x 4's to find which jar had what he was looking for. I worked well, and when I get motivated enough to sort my own bolts....or pay some kid to do it, I want to replicate his contraption for nostalgia. Richard was a good man, and he passed away from cancer a few years ago. He was the one who taught me to not to be afraid to turn a wrench to fix something. R.I.P. Richard Davis! :thankyou:
