Brought it home

The crank and bearings were never run. The bearings had some scratches just by turning it by hand So builder was an idiot. Then my son looked at the crank and said its not for us. The ends of all the journals were under cut instead of a radius. He said we would snap that crank on the first launch . Other then that there are some very exspensive new parts. Thank god they never started it up. The SFI flex plate was dated 2007. Wait until you look at the pan. It looks like they torqued it to 90 ft lbs. The nuts on the studs were about pulled through the pan. LMAO. The new Hydraulic cam & lifters, rocker, springs ,valves and just the small parts were worth the $250 and more.

Steve, Dave and I put it up on the shelf with the Mega block. I included some pictures to compare them. Notice the dust on the Mega block its been up there for years. Soon we will build it. He doesn't trust anyone touching it so he has been buying all of his own machines. We need a crank Balancer so he could do balancing and a large sonic cleaner to fit a block in. next on the list. Then a addition on the garage.
