Hose issue resolved now on to wiring. The ground for the blower motor and the coiled wire in the box are together. Does each have to be grounded? I have the motor working but not sure what to do with the shorter ground. Is the coiled wire in the heater box a heater itself? Still on the 67 dart no a/c.

The coiled wires on the brown fiberglass board is the blower motor resistor pack. When power is running thru one, motor is on low, when it's running thru just the other, the motor runs at medium speed, when it's not running thru either coil and is bypassing them both, the motor runs on high.

Ground goes from the lower nut to the wiper motor . Black wire in the picture.

Thanks moparmat2000. Im going to have to check the motor again today I think it only has 2 speeds but I may be wrong.

I suppose model and how many fan speeds are available varies. I'm more familiar with Ford but I don't think there's much difference in how they are wired. No resistor is high, through one resistor is lower, though 2 resistors is even lower. More resistors, more lower speeds.
So... you'll find the resistors are in series, supplied from one end, all hot. The fan switch position dictates which wire/which resistor or resistors are used.

It is the factory color in base /clear.. 1971 K6 autumn bronze metallic. I am undecided Black or white stripes. It has 71 340 wedge V24 black out with rear wing and color coated painted mirrors. I am adding a Snorkel scoop.I am thinking to much black for a brown car. I haven't had any replies on Stripe color. We will paint in a couple weeks. I have black but now thinking white.

I had an original 72 brown with white. It was "Tawny Gold" It was eye catching with white and I think it helped sell the car. I sold it in one day.

I was rebuilding the orange car below. Now I am just going to sell it. That is the reason I didn't paint it orange and kept the original color. left the jams alone.

Finally paint
