Lower Ball Joint hole too big

I am doing a front end rebuild on my 69 Dart with drum brakes. On the ball joints that were on the car, the holes that connect to the spindle have the same diameter. Both sets of ball joints that I have ordered (Mevotech MS25523, MS25524 and Proforged 0110130, 0110131) have one of the holes bigger than the stock ones. From what I have read there is no difference between disc and drum ball joints so I have no idea what these parts are for. Does anyone know the correct part that I should buy and what the Mevotechs that I have go to? (I want to sell them on ebay since I can't return them anymore)

Not sure of your particular situation... But rock auto lists a disc and a drum lower ball joint by ac Delco.

Moog may be a dead issue, unless you can find NOS. Many have reported less than 'quality' with the current crop

Is there any evidence that they have been reamed? And are we talking about the later large bolt conversion, or stock two piston 69 disc?

i think '69 drum are 1/2", '69 disc are 9/16"

Yes, you are correct.
That's the difference between the two, disc, and drum brake, attachment holes, to the spindle.

It currently has drum brakes that are, as far as I can tell, stock with no reaming
