How many CURRENT owners of real '74 360 Duster 4 speed cars on here?

-
I’ve seen a few of these. The Column shift I’ve see have been 2 barrels, but that could be 75/76. Kim
I'm not sure about Dusters, but i have a '75 Dart Sport 360 E58 that is column auto yellow with a black bench seat interior.
I also had a '74 Dart Sport 360 E58 with column auto that was white and had black bucket seats and a '74 Dart Sport E58 360 brown with a parchment interior and a console auto with a sunroof and fold down rear seat to go along with my '74 Dart Sport E58 360 4 speed red car with parchment interior and bucket seats that i still have...........
I sold the brown and white cars a few years back and still own the yellow and red cars.
The brown and white cars also came with the dual snorkle scoops as well.
The other ones are not coded for a hood scoop.
So, I think that they all came column shifted unless they were ordered with a console to go with the many other options available in these years.
I'm not intending to brag, I'm just putting this information out there because i really like the '73 and up A-Bodies and have owned and still do own a few of them!

There were no 2 bbls on the 74 360 Dusters. Only hi-po 4bbls with dual exhaust

Here you go matching numbers 74 with 360 and auto. I have owned this car for 39 years.

Hey Gang my first new car was a 1974 360 auto Duster. It was red with a white stripe and a full black vinyl top, with black bench seat. I have looked everywhere I can't seem to find the car, but it seems it has been destroyed. I just bought one that is red with white stripe and a half vinyl top. If any of you all knows where mine is at I would appreciate letting me know.

I doubt you will get much traffic on your search posting it in a thread asking who all owns 4 speed cars. I would suggest starting a new thread if you want to get all the views you can and increase your chance of finding your car. Just an idea.

Or in "lost and found" with a little more information.

there is one sitting in carlinville,il that has had the tail panel replaced with a 70 tail panel, rear wheel wheels and trunk pan cut out w/ poopey cage installed to make a race car.

Been so long since I started this thread, almost 9 years.

Last time this was compiled (that I could find in the thread) was March 26, 2015.

1 individual that hasn't posted, so I won’t say who he is (and I don’t remember anymore)

Myself – DionR - yes
oldkimmer – yes
TimS – no (1/28/2018 reference to selling to a friend)
MrHemi
360Duster4speed – as of 12/8/2018

Money pitt (friend) – as of 1/27/2018
gdrill – sold but still alive
Shayne Dysart – as of 2/8/2020

Dates are the last time they posted in this thread with something indicating they still owned the car after the previous time the list was compiled.

That’s seventeen 1974 Duster 360 original 4 speed cars, of which I can’t guess at how many are still owned by the person on the list beyond myself.

No offense to the individuals posting about their ’74 Duster 360 auto’s, great car, but doesn’t fit the original criteria of the question I asked. Not sure why paytonpl3 and Oldiron440 would disagree with a friendly update to the original intent of the post, but whatever.

Dion, I wonder how many of the 17 are real? Is yours factory green?

I think most of them are real.

I was specific when I started this thread asking how many had real ones, and I have seen a fair amount of fender tags showing E58/D21. Always possible that wires got crossed, or they were converted before the individual bought it, but pretty sure these are all real 360 4 speed cars.

Sorry, forgot to answer the second question. Yes, factory KG8 Deep Sherwood Metallic.

Asked for a match when I got it repainted, but not sure how close they got it.

Mine is a real 1974 Duster 360 4 gear car. I don’t have a build sheet or fender tag. Just the serial number I have decoded on a few sites besides this 1. I also have a 75 Duster 360 auto. And a 75 Dart Sport 360 4 gear car. Kim

That Sherwood is a beautiful factory color. My sister had one with Keystone Classics. I remember the Chrome wheels against that dark green with the metallic looked amazing

It was blue. Now Panther Pink. Was white interior. Now is gutted. It’s a race car now with a 470 stroker. Auto, Dana 60. I have all parts to put it back to factory.
