My window regulator, 2004 Mercury Grand Marquis, all I had to take apart is apart, need to clean up the inside of the door for metal shavings from drilling out the rivets, then the new parts go in.
Interesting to see where the new regulator was made.
The broken part was that the plastic part where the wire ends were fastened is broken so the wire came out and was just loose and hanging there. So, the regulator definitely needs to be replaced.
