Break ins and theft are out of hand around here,seems like it will get worse before it gets better. If at all.

The stress level here and there is like night and day. That said, I moved here when I was 51, that means other 51 year olds who have lived here all their life has a lot of knowledge, they know the laws, rules, and if they don't know it is a law, they live their lives because it has become a habit, this is how we do it. Often based on the law, but people don't think about it. It has become natural. So, my stress level is several times higher than it had to be if I knew everything. By default I can be a bit pessimistic, so it does not take much for me to think I will be arrested tomorrow. And with all the fake phone calls from individuals telling they are from IRS or some other federal agency and that there is a warrant for me, no wonder I get paranoid from time to time. :D
