Someone put something like that in the trunk of my scamp.I dont know the product or when it was applied but it is a sticky gooey mess right now.I'll need to figure out a way to get rid of it.
It was probably just rubberized undercoating in the spray can from the parts store. It never fully hardens and is not what you want to be using in this application. Upol raptor is a 2k catalyzed product that will cure hard.
Btw, regular rustolem paint can take months to completely dry. Especially if its put on thick. I like their rusty metal primer but you have to give it plenty of drying time.
