What they are teaching in college nowadays

I saw a preview for that show "call me jazz" I was baffled to even understand how this is even a show that anyone would want to watch. I hear you dibbons, I worked for 15 years for the state, would be the acting trades supervisor and projects manager as needed when people were on vacation or medical leave. Then when the positions became available to apply for I couldn't get an interview for them, even though I was doing the job. They said my education levels on paper didn't meet the qualifications. How was I qualified to be doing the job, but not qualified to get the job? I did all the on the job trainings. My wife just told me that my son going to college just told her he is thinking about getting back into welding and going to a welding trade school. With our new shop he can go right from trade school to business owner/operator and have be ahead of the curve instantly. I am going to hope this is what he chooses, but not push him into it. If its not of his own choice it won't stick. My sister in law said that her daughter is going to school in Klamath Falls and taking the same courses and they dont have any of the gender, white privilege or stuff like that going into the courses.
