I am looking for an Ignition Control Module for a 1975 Dodge three ton truck. It originally had a 318, but, I think that it was swapped to a 360 from a 1973 Polara. Is it the same control module for either engine? Any suggestions as to what I should use as a replacement? I looked to NAPA and they have Echlin and Milage Plus brands. Autozone have their own Duralast brand. O'Reily's has Standard LX101. Or, should I go for something like an MSD that will work on anything (this costs about $200).

Looking forward to feedback.

The control module is the same regardless of engine. It's by year model where some were 5 pin and most others 4 pin. The standard brand is a good module to go with.

Any old stock box will work. They're all the same, spark's a spark.

I jut put a LX101 in my 73 Truck and its been great so far. My original was a 5 pin and the newer are 4 but not an issue.

Is that one of the big D or W series or a different model of truck?
