CHOOSING THE RIGHT TORQUE CONVERTER

With street tires and 500 ft. lbs. in an A body?
A friend of mine was very unhappy with his 408 dart...nothing but tire spin in any gear up to highway speeds! Now purpose build your suspension for and race it at the strip with slicks and a custom converter, and it will be a different story.
I think a good set of MT ET streets would do a lot for traction. A lot of guys running 10's, 9's or quicker with them.
