2 Sundays ago (10/13?) Scott Starr whose handle here was 340man passed away unexpectedly in his home. They are still trying to figure out what happened. I had known Scott for 18 years and had my share of Mopar memories with him. We both belong to the All Around Mopars Club in WA. Attached is a photo from his memorial service last Sunday. The turquois 67 was his long time show car and the green 1970 340 Swinger was a car that he planned to restore. The group photo is All Around Mopars at the 1st all Mopar show that we sponsored over 10 years ago. Scott was a founding member of the club. Scott was 56 and in apparently excellent health and left behind his wife, a daughter, a son and 5 grandkids.

If there is something important in your life that you want/need to do, don't put it off - you never know how much time you have.

Condolences on the loss of your friend. You just never know. Maybe a mod can change his membership status to legendary. May he RIP.

OMG!!!!!.....I'm shocked!!!! I had talked with him at Monroe Swap just this spring, and we'd conversed on here many times!!...Sad indeed...RIP... in Mopar heaven:(

Nice guy . Did some parts swapping with him and chatted on the phone several times.

So sorry to hear. Prayers sent for strength and healing. I'll let Joey know.

Very sad to hear of such a good, and well liked man passing. Which one is he in the group pic? Passing suddenly and being in good health makes me wonder if maybe he had an aortic aneurism. Those things can happen very suddenly, and it is rare that anyone survives them. I said a prayer for Scott's family and friends.

Sad to hear these types of things. Have to try to get the most out of our time here. Prayers for the family

Our condolences from up here. Wow, you get used to seeing posts from members and assume that they will continue.
Thanks for letting us know and for sharing the pics.
RIP Scott.

I bought a 440 6-pack intake from him last year. He was a pleasure to talk to. RIP

So sorry to hear this. It seems more and more folks are passing at young ages. It starts to make you think about your priorities in life. My wife and I are fairly young (34 and 33) and we had a family friend pass away at 48, from lung cancer. The worst part is she never smoked or drank. She left us her 69 Barracuda. We will be building it in memory of her, here soon.
