Halloween is for pagans and heathens, let them be, they don't get it.
Christians are called to be a light to the Gentiles, and to plant salvation seeds.

I have yet, after 26years, to meet good ground. I myself was stony ground until 1993. My wife is still stony, and none of my three kids are interested. Yet am I light to them, letting the brilliance of GodAlmighty shine, as evidenced principally by my health which is not of myself, but thru the power of the Name above all names, coupled with my faith. I get attacked just like everybody else my age; the difference is; I see what it is, how it works, and why it comes; and I know the prescribed Biblical way to get rid of it. But still, my family prefers their Gentile existence.
Big-bang and Darwinism have no power to heal, no power to extend life, and no power to regenerate lost body parts, and no power to protect.
Oh and the healing power of GodAlmighy is not limited to just humans either. It works on sick animals and trees and whatever you call it down on, according to your faith.

5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all [men] liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

Look, I get that I often sound like a plick, that's because it's not up to me to save the world; it's about too late for that. I am not a wishy-washy, bench-warming, deceived and complacent Christian. I am a Believer, and I don't care if you like me or don't. The Bible says all men will hate me for the sake of Jesus' name. So if you don't hate me, something is wrong; I'm not doing my job right.
I strike to the core. If you get roused to any emotion at all, it is because the spirit in you convicts you. So I'm here, doing what the Bible says to do; namely confessing Jesus before men, that Jesus will confess me to His Father. This is the Biblically endorsed way to ensure you have an audience with our Creator. So you who are sick and ask for corporate prayer here on FABO, are supposing that we have God's ear, but do we? God said we should do greater things in the Son's name, than those that He did while He was yet with us! It's up to us to speak healing over eachother. Let the Power of His name, together with Your Faith, do the work; Faith without works is dead. Those two go hand in hand.
So yeah; corporate prayer does work; but recall that it may take time, as Daniel himself had to wait 21 days on one occasion. And he was one of a handful of the greatest prayer-warriors of all time, with a huge Faith. Can you or your loved one wait 21 days or more. What if he/she dies first? What will your opinion of God then be? Don't hate God, He gave us the Daniel story for a reason. He's making the point that our prayers go straight to Him when we pray; but that the answer comes back thru satan's realm,who owns the second heaven, (and is currently moving into our realm), and can be seriously delayed.
Whereas the Power in the Name, coupled with Faith, can be instant. In my case the longest wait was three days, while the healing actually began right away. Before I understood this, I (and sometimes with Christian friends) had been praying for more than six months with ZERO results.Smaller attacks are instantaneous.

"No Harm No Foul". The wife, daughter and grand daughter and I carved pumpkins for Halloween. Halloween isn’t his. (satan) The day isn’t his. He has no right to it. And I’m not about to give it to him, nor am I about to let him use it to create fear or anxiety in me. Sooo, I say bring on the candy corn.....lol

Wow, that’s a lot of heavy stuff to lay in a simple question about moving Halloween. Like it or not, not too many people tie Halloween to its original roots, or even care to. Why can’t families enjoy what it’s morphed into without all of this? As a kid I could care less about all of that, and I’m now old enough to make my own decisions regarding God. That said, Halloween will always be in my mind like I described in my original post, and no amount of this “enlightenment” will ever change that. God gave me the opportunity to live those memories, I doubt he’s cursing me about it now.
