LB's and LR's woulda been easier too.
Home Depot sells single conductor wire by the foot too. Maybe 20 feet of THHN 12 gauge Black White and Green. Would've pulled in easier than Romex.

Another trick.....
To pull wire in. Tie string to some plastic, we use blue grocery bag.
Suck it thru the pipe with a shop vac. Use the string to pull your wire in.
