Hello guys. Has anyone found headers that will fit in an originally /6 car converted to a 360 with Schumacher kit. Thanks in advance.

I just used Hooker 5204's. They fit fine with the exception the steering. They weren't made for 73 and up steering. They're 1 3/4 dia., so they're routed different than the 1 5/8's.

Thank u do u remember the model and they fit with Schumacher mounts?
Ummmmmm, your freakin kidding me right?!?!

OK, I’ll play stupid and go over the facts.

I read the title of your thread.
I read your post.
I gave you the answer.

Di you think I’m a lier?
I did this swap twice, so I posted facts.
Oh wait, I’m a lier and a Condescending arrogant motherfucker right? I’m only posting to watch you follow my advice, spend money on useless parts, get frustrated to high heaven, wait until you sell your car for cheap and I’ll swoop in and purchase it for pennies on the dollar.

Danm it! You have discovered my Diabolical plan! What will I ever do?!?!
:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Freakin come on man! WTF?!?!?!

These are what I used:
1971 PLYMOUTH DUSTER Hooker Competition Headers 5901HKR

Would you like a thread link to the one I did?

Matt, the Schumacher mounts hold the engine in the factory location. Any header designed for the application will fit. (Be careful about that 5204 I mentioned.) If your engine is mostly stock, the 1 5/8 headers will be what you want. They are routed differently than the 5204's that didn't clear my steering, and are listed to fit a wider range of years. Some will post that the Hooker's are too low, don't fit, etc. Your budget will help you decide.
Maybe you should post how much experience you have with these cars, and what your goals are.
Mostly good, helpful folks on here. I've learned a lot, and have questions every time I start a new aspect of my project.
Welcome to FABO.
